SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE
INTRODUCTION:
The simple future is a verb tense that’s used to talk about things that haven’t happened yet.
We Use the simple future to talk about an action or condition that will begin and end in the future. It doesn’t matter if the subject is singular or plural; the formula for the simple future doesn’t change. But, There is another way to show that something will happen in the future. For suppose You are going to see what I mean. The “going to” construction is common in speech and casual writing.
DEFINITION:
In English grammar, the simple future is a form of the verb that refers to an action or event that has not yet begun. The simple future is also used to make a prediction or to show ability, intention, or determination. Also called the future simple.
EXPLANATION:
The simple future refers to a time later than now, and expresses facts or certainty. In this case there is no 'attitude'. The simple future is used: To predict a future event like "It will rain tomorrow". The simple future is expressed by placing the helping verb will or shall (or a contracted form of will or shall) in front of the base form of a verb (e.g., "I will arrive tomorrow".
AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCE:
Formula:
Subject + Will / Shall + 1st Form of Verb + Object.
Example:
You will go to school.
NEGATIVE SENTENCE:
Formula:
Subject + Will / Shall + Not +1st Form of Verb + Object.
Example:
You will not go to school.
INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE:
Formula:
Will / Shall + Subject + 1st Form of Verb + Object + Question Mark ( ? ).
Example:
Will you go to school ?
