INTRODUCTION:

The future continuous tense, sometimes also referred to as the future progressive tense, is a verb tense that indicates that something will occur in the future and continue for an expected length of time. The future progressive tense is used to say that something will be in progress at a particular moment in the future. The future progressive tense is also used to talk about future events which are fixed or decided. It does not suggest the idea of personal intention.




DEFINITION:

The Future Continuous Tense describes the ongoing action at any particular instant in the future, or it will happen in the future. It is also called a future progressive tense, which means a sentence shows the progress of any action that is continued in the present and continuing in future timing.

EXPLANATIONS:

A verb construction (made up of the verb phrase "will be" or "shall be" plus a present participle). Also called the future continuous.
The future progressive conveys a sense of ongoing action at a particular future time or during a span of time in the future. In some cases the simple future and the future progressive tenses express very similar situations or actions, especially when the future action takes place at an indefinite time in the future.

AFFIRMATIVE SENTENCE:

Formula:

Subject + Will be + Verb ( ing ) + Object.

Example:

You will be studying.

NEGATIVE SENTENCE:

Formula:

Subject + Will not + be + Verb ( ing ) + Object.

Example:

You will not be studying.

INTERROGATIVE SENTENCE:

Formula:

 Will + Subject + Verb ( ing ) + Object + Question Mark ( ? ).

Example:

Will you be studying ?
