INTRODUCTION:

Continuing our topic "PARTS OF SPEECH" Let's talk about adverb today. Here's a quick Introduction to what actually adverb is !
Adverbs are words that typically alter verbs by limiting or restricting their meaning. Additionally, they can change verbs, adverbs, phrases, and even whole sentences.

SIGNIFICANCE:

Adverbs make it easier to describe what you are discussing while expressing your ideas and emotions on the topics at hand. Additionally, it improves the audience's comprehension of your points of view and entirely links to your narrative.



DEFINITION:

An adverb is a word or an expression that generally modifies a verb, adjective, another adverb, determiner, clause, preposition, or sentence. Adverbs typically answer questions like "how?, "when?," "where?, "by expressing manner, place, time, frequency, degree, level of certainty, etc.

EXAMPLES:

1. SOFTLY

( In the darkness, the night lantern glowed softly. )

2. SERIOUSLY

( Smoking is seriously harmful to your health. )

3. SLOWLY

( We walked slowly along the road. )

4. NEVER

( I have never committed any crime. )

5. CONTINUOUSLY

( The child climbed the stairs continuously. )

6. CAREFULLY

( Read the contract carefully before signing it. )

7. ACCIDENTALLY 

( She accidentally slipped down the stairs. )

8. QUICKLY

( I quickly drew a picture of an elephant. )

9. GREEDILY

( He ate the chocolate cake greedily. )

10. FREQUENTLY

( The door opens frequently. )
