 PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

We use the simple present tense for anything that happens often or is factual. The simple present tense is used to express habits, general truths, repeated actions or unchanging situations, emotions and wishes. It is called "simple" because its basic form consists of a single word (like write or writes)
